Accounting Manager

As iSIGN’s Accounting Manager, you would play a primary role in supporting the company’s mission to change the way the world transacts business. Below are details on what we are looking for and on what you would be getting yourself into.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and timely accounting data that assures compliance with audit requirements and provides adequate basis for management decision-making
  • Supervise or prepare monthly journal entries
  • Supervise or prepare general ledger reconciliations
  • Support monthly closing process and preparation of financial statements
  • Assist or lead the preparation of company budgets and forecasts
  • Implement, monitor and enhance internal controls
  • Handle accounts receivable and collections efforts
  • Manage accounts payable and supplier relationships
  • Process semi-monthly payroll activities
  • Provide support with ad hoc and special projects
  • Report to Controller and develop good working relationship with auditors

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 five years’ previous experience as a Senior Accountant
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills, including general ledger, revenue recognition and risk management
  • 2 to 3 years’ previous experience with SEC reporting for publicly traded companies
  • Start-up, hi-tech and/or software company experience preferred
  • Knowledge of warrant, stock option and foreign exchange accounting preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with accounting software a plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
