iSign Reports Third Quarter 2018 Results

SAN JOSE, CA, November 14, 2018 – iSign Solutions Inc. (“iSIGN”) (OTC Pink: ISGN), a leading supplier of electronic signature and other software solutions enabling secure and cost-effective management of document-based digital transactions, today reported total revenue of $197,000 for the quarter ended September 30, 2018, a decrease of $33,000, or 14%, compared to total revenue of $230,000 for the prior year.

“iSIGN’s efforts to minimize cash burn and extend the company’s runway continue to bear fruit, as our loss from operations was nearly cut in half, despite slightly lower revenue,” said Philip Sassower, co-chairman and chief executive officer for iSIGN. “We are seeing early indications of higher transaction volume and will continue to operate at current levels until our expected revenue ramp begins to materialize.”

For the quarter ended September 30, 2018, operating expenses were $389,000, a decrease of $206,000, or 35%, compared to operating expenses of $595,000 in the prior year. This decrease primarily was due to iSIGN’s efforts to restructure its operations in favor of partner-generated recurring revenue and reductions in its general and administrative expenses.

For the quarter ended September 30, 2018, the net loss was $195,000, a decrease of $228,000, or 54%, compared to a net loss of $423,000 in the prior year. This decrease primarily was due to a $173,000 decrease in loss from operations and $86,000 in other income related to insurance premium overpayments, offset by increases in interest expense and amortization of debt discount.

Additional financial information regarding iSIGN’s operating results for the quarter ended September 30, 2018, will be available in the Company’s Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q that will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission and available at
