Philip Sassower 

Co-Chairman and CEO

Currently the CEO of Phoenix Group, a private equity firm, Phillip has over 40 years experience in successfully restructuring publicly-traded companies. As iSIGN’s largest shareholder, Phil helped iSIGN establish a new management team starting in late 2010 that has shepherded the company’s strategic direction and performance improvements.

Phil is also Chairman and CEO of Xplore Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: XPLR), a leading provider of rugged Tablet PCs, and held prior positions as Chairman and CEO of Newpark Resources, an oil and gas services company focused on environmental remediation, and Bates Manufacturing Company, an owner of extensive coal deposits, among others.

Mike Engmann 

Co-Chairman, President and CFO

Mike joined iSign as Director and Co-Chairman in October 2015, and is a significant investor and long-time supporter of iSIGN. Mike has approximately 40 years experience in building successful financial service companies.

Beginning with his career as a trader, he was one of the pioneer market-makers in the Pacific Stock Exchange’s options program. He started the Sage Clearing Corporation, a cutting-edge stock and options clearing company designed for professional traders.

The company sold to ABN Amro Inc. in 1997. He also founded Preferred Trade, Inc., a broker-dealer providing research and trade execution services, which sold to Fimat in May 2005. He then found Revere Data LLC, a global financial and market data company which sold to Factset in 2013.

David Welch 

Audit Committee Chairman

David joined iSIGN as the Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee in March 2004. He has over 40 years of accounting and financial management experience in technology companies.

David is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations for Vertex Innovations, Inc. Vertex is a provider of construction management services to the wireless telecommunications industry.  

David serves as a director on the boards of Venaxis, PepperBall Technologies, and Advanced Neutraceuticals. From his prior experiences, David brings expert business and accounting experience to iSIGN.

Jeffrey Holtmeier

As the CEO of GENext and through its subsidiary, Jeff has assisted many US companies in establishing relationships in China. He also co-founded Koncept International, a China-based VoIP, and digital media technology company. Jeff has over 25 years of entrepreneurship in the technology and communications industry. He has founded and built InfiNET, one of the largest owned voice and data companies in the United States. Jeff is also a recipient of the Ernst and Young, NASDAQ/USA Today “Entrepreneur of the Year".

Stanley Gilbert 

Stanley has practiced law for over 45 years and is a leading expert in estate administration and planning and in tax planning. Stanley is the Founder, President, and owner of Stanley L Gilbert PC.

His prior experience also includes being a partner of several law firms that include: Bell Kallnick Klee and Green, and Migdal Pollack Rosenkrantz and Sherman. Mr. Gilbert also serves as the Director of Planned Giving at Columbia University Medical Center’s Nathaniel Wharton Fund. Stanley joined iSIGN as Director in October 2011.

Frank Elenio

Frank Elenio has 25+ years of experience as a strategic, solution-driven professional. Frank focuses on finance, accounting, operations, and turn-around management. He has extensive CFO level experience at many private companies, including Wilshire Enterprises, Inc. Frank has also worked with Web Collage Inc., Go Amerca Inc., and Roomlinx Inc.

Both a CPA and an MBA, Mr. Elenio is an Adjunct Professor of finance at Seton Hall University. Frank rejoined iSIGN in November 2015, having served from August 2010 until October 2011.

Andrea Goren 

Andrea has 18+ years of experience in private equity investing. His expertise is in working with management teams by growing and restructuring their businesses. Andrea is also the Managing Director of Phoenix Group, a private equity firm that is iSIGN’s largest shareholder.

He joined iSIGN in December 2010 to manage financial and legal matters.

He remains an active participant in the design and operation of iSIGN’s strategic decisions. Andrea also serves as the Board Member of Xplore Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: XPLR), a leading provider of rugged Tablet PCs. His prior positions include being the Vice President of Shamrock International, a reputable private equity firm part of Roy Disney’s holding company. And also of Madison Capital Group, a boutique M+A firm focused on restructuring.
